“DC” refers to “direct current,” the type of power that batteries use. EVs have “onboard chargers” inside the car that convert AC power to DC for the battery. DC fast chargers convert AC power to DC within the charging station and deliver DC power directly to the battery, which is why they charge faster.
- Charging speed to 80% within 30 mins
- Compatible with CCS
- Support RFID card reader for user authentication
- 7” LCD touch screen & user-friendly interface
- Support wired/wireless network LAN, 4G
- Support OCPP1.6 or OCPP2.0 to realize intelligent charging system.
Our DC fast chargers have the same built-in precautions as any other EV charger: they only deliver as much power as your car can handle. From start to finish, your car is communicating with the charging station, monitoring conditions such as the vehicle’s state of charge, the maximum electrical current available from the station and the battery voltage, and regulating the power flow accordingly. Because fast charging delivers so much more power than AC charging, it’s especially important that it not send more power than the car or battery can handle.
